Chris Berthelsen
Researcher; Usable Cities, Creative Climate, Play, Happiness, and Control

Chris Berthelsen does ‘stuff’ in Think + Research + Make in topics around human-scale usable cities, hand made play and the child-scale, and creative climate in organizations.

He holds undergraduate degrees in art history and economics, and a master’s degree in international business. On a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technologyhe spent two years studying innovation, creativity and Japanese business at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.

Originally from New Zealand, Chris currently lives in West Tokyo where the industrial-suburban-rural city begins to taper off into the mountains.
